Hi everyone,

another photos from Austria.

Night in Austria

Heya there,

the photo is from Austria in february. And I know, I´m horrible person, it´s autumn and I´m posting photos from winter 😀

Unexpected adventures

Hello everyone,

I know that this blog wasn´t working for some time, but now I have a little time and  energy to edit all photos from last half year, so I hope  I will post most of the photos in few  days. This year was full of unexpected adventures, we traveled a lot and succesfully finished another year of university (and Stanley has the masters degree in nanomaterials now 🙂 ).  I started to use  RawTherapee, so I´m now open source user in photography stuff (I still need some paid programs for my work to school), but I´m still learning it.

Hope you will like new photos!

Snaps 2016

Well, this year we really haven’t been active so far…share-wise. We’ve abandoned any attempts at regularly scheduled sharing and decided to just share when we feel like it. Problem is, we don’t often feel like it. Personally, I have reached a new level of laziness with my process. I take the photos, I process them but I am so put off by the thought of exporting, organizing and naming them I just don’t share it and go play Black Ops or SWTOR instead :D. Well, I don’ know how, but I managed to actually finalize a batch of photos. Some of them a remnants from 2015, but most of them are more recent. Today, I want to share those 2015 ones so I can start with the new ones.

This first one I already shared in a colour version, but I really like the b&w one too. I actually also have two different b&w versions too, but I like this one more. It is also a brilliant example of the use of my Samyang 12mm F2.0 lens and RawTherapee’s (and Pat David’s) film emulation. This one is called In the Undergrowth.

This one I’m not really that proud of, but I like it for some reason…maybe it’s the symmetry. I also recall taking this photo on more occasions, but I couldn’t even find the other versions. I call this one Windows 2015.

This one is over half a year old. This couple was building a nest underneath the roof of our cottage and I just happened to have my monstrous Tokina 75-260mm F4.5 lens with me. I guess the thing I like the most about it is the title I’ve given it: African swallows are non-migratory. If you don’t know what the title refers to, Google it 😀

Have a great day!

Hello there,

one month ago I was with my schoolmates at Karlovy Vary to check out the hotel Thermal for reception and lobby redesign. In the evening we had a time for short walk to the city centre.

Graveyard Photos

Well, the title may sound a bit morbid (and I have gotten quite a few weird looks when standing with my tripod in the middle of a graveyard on a new year’s eve). Later, I might share few photos from the actual graveyard, but the sun was just too intense, so I don’t know if there will be anything useful there, but as we were leaving the graveyard, I turned around to take this photo. And as promised yesterday, this one is an HDR too (well, the full size 16 MP jpeg is about 23 megabytes…). Have fun.

Path to the Altar

Welcome to 2016! We haven’t yet decided what frequency we would like to share photos with you this year and in the meantime, we still have to post a few 2015 leftovers. And now something I haven’t done in quite a while: a recently taken photo (like 2 days ago…) and it’s an HDR! Oh I have almost forgotten how much I used to love this technique! Especially the processing time I have to put into it :D. Still, I have gone out of training and it’s quite visible…I guess I’ll try to get better in 2016 an spend more time with this technique ;). But for now, this have to suffice 😉

Have a great day!

New Year’s Eve

Hello everyone,

this is the last photo of this year. I have got another photos to post, but I wasn´t able to upload them yet. So you can expect a few Thing a week 2015 photos in the next days.
